Factors Influencing Public Perception of Science

Our literature review identified factors influencing public perception of science within the context communication. We analyzed 40 studies using an integrative method and found that most research about was conducted in developed countries’ contexts. five categories influence perception: Type science, audience beliefs, socio-demographics, source communication, environment. observed type is fundamental factor determines other factors. Audience belief are influential theme. also noticed act as confounding and/or mediating variables cannot separate them a single to identify individual influence.
